IDEA! #mydubai

When you are 5 and know what a hashtag is...how times change! Over here in Dubai, one of the most popular hashtags is #mydubai. Everyone here has their own experiences of this buzzing place and it means something different to each individual. To me, Dubai is friendship, change and a home from home. I love living in a place that is so forward thinking, home to the gorgeous school I work in and a place that never ceases to amaze me.

One of our Global Citizenship objectives is to learn about our environment and our surroundings. It was so lovely to hear what Dubai meant to the children when we discussed the hashtag and then asked them to decorate an art folder with their ideas.

We shared our creations and tweeted them into the world. I loved this little activity, it's definitely been a heartwarming part of #mydubai!
